I love Me

The mountains are high,
The sky is blue,
I keep telling myself,
"I love you".

Its hard to believe,
But its true.
I love myself,
More than you.

Dont keep crying,
For someone a fool,
Who doesn't keep you in
Happy mood.

Life has taught me
To keep it cool
When things do happen
That are somewhat new.

Take some chances,
Take risks, a few.
U have to win the race,
I am there for you.

muthhu manikal

The hair bow

It was a beautiful evening. I had my regular bath (i bathe daily) and was brushing my hair taking short walks in my garden.. (Talking about my hair... its black as ebony, thick and really really long (this long that it reach my knees(when i bend :P))). I was enjoying the elegance of each and every flower and leaves taking them in my hands.. giving it a soft touch.. All of a sudden i noticed something yellow with dark black spots laying in one of the pots. I went nearby and found that it was my hair bow. I had lost it long long ago. "who put it here? most probably my stubborn sis?" and I began to take it in hand. Just as I touched it it seemed to move. Then I noticed that it had a distinguishable head and two black bead like eyes. I stood stunned for a moment (enjoying the beauty of that slimy creature lying there, do you think? NO..I was shocked). I ran at 3G speed to where mom was feeding Ammu (ta ta da taa ta da.... taa taa taaa). Reaching there I told mom "aka tikki makka kuva tiki taka". (Mom took an unknownlanguage -Malayalam dictionary to figure out what i was saying and guessed it right... NO she just rushed to the direction where i was pointing). The latter part of the story may be completed as you wish.

Note:
*Not anywhere in this story have i used any exaggeration. The amounts I speak of are clearly and distinctly the very accurate and precise measurements. I am the story teller and you ought to believe what ever I say.
* if you find this boring or silly, go bang your heads in the wall. I am not responsible for your mistake of deciding to read this post!

The boy and the girl

"Where have you been ? i thought u wouldn't come back. i thought u found new places to beg", Rayappan said facing a 16 year old girl and a 3 year old boy... The children were all dressed up in rags..dark and dull...all covered in mud..and hair all brown n dirty.. Both of them looked extremely tired...The boy still had a twinkle in his eyes. But the girl's eyes were just two dark circles.. "your stomach is full...looks like you have eaten your heart full u merciless creature... your brother is starving to death." Rayappan shouted on the girl ," Come here child. Let me give you something to eat". The boy went inside and ate the pieces of bread rayappan gave him... the girl sat on the floor looking all tired ...

It was night. The children sat in the platform. A train passed by and it set up the girl's dirty brown hair to sway in the wind. "I m feeling hungry", the boy said. Hearing this the girl took the boy in her lap and began to breastfeed him. "leave some for the baby, kanna", she said stroking her protruded belly. In the moonlight a tear drop twinkled in her eye.
Sun shone with all its might onto her eyes..still she didn't move...The boy cried aloud"Amma, amma...".. but she didnt move.. Flies settled down on her cheeks and licked away the tears.. still she didn't move.Somewhere in a hospital a baby cried. "Congratulations Mr.Panicker. You have a girl child".
